What to Expect With a ROSA Knee Replacement
Once you’ve decided to move forward with a ROSA knee replacement procedure, your surgeon will use X-rays to create a three-dimensional model of your knee. Your surgeon will use this model, combined with the ROSA Knee System, to plan your surgery based on your specific needs and anatomy.
Like a traditional knee replacement, your procedure will involve your surgeon removing damaged portions of your knee structure and carefully positioning your implant components. However, the ROSA Knee procedure is based on a presurgical plan specific to your unique anatomy, and your surgeon will also guide robotic instrumentation with real-time data for accurate implant placement.
You’ll begin your recovery immediately following surgery, and you will be able to recover in the comfort of home as soon as you’re able to stand and walk with your new knee.
