Dr. Carey Ellis, OAK Orthopedics’ fellowship-trained and board-certified sports medicine specialist, has recently returned from Argentina as an official team physician for two U.S. Soccer men’s teams.
Dedicated to the highest level of care for patients of all ages, from children and adolescents to adults and seniors, and athletes of all levels, from recreational to elite, Dr. Ellis devotes most of his time to his sports medicine practice in Bradley, Ill., at OAK Orthopedics.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Ellis currently serves as the director of sports medicine and team physician for Olivet Nazarene University, Kankakee Community College, and Bradley-Bourbonnais Community High School. He has served as a team physician for U.S. Soccer since 2009. As an elite team physician, Dr. Ellis has traveled to Spain, England, Mexico, Turkey, Portugal, Panama, Bosnia, Honduras and, most recently, Argentina in order to provide advanced care to U.S. Soccer’s U-17 and U-18 Men’s National Teams.
